Import and find errors

Choose images or drag supported files into the import area. + Add images appends to the current import order. Use × to remove an item and Clear batch to remove the batch.

Unsupported input and This image could not be decoded messages identify items that cannot be processed. Export a fresh JPG, PNG or WebP from your source application, remove the broken item and add the fresh file. Keep confidential originals out of support examples.

Choose a size rule

Open Resize. Shared width sets the output width and calculates height from the source proportions. Longest edge sets the longer output edge and calculates the other edge proportionally. Fixed width & height creates the exact canvas you enter, in pixels (px), not a file-size target in KB.

For Fixed width & height, Fill crops overflow to fill the frame. Fit keeps the whole image and adds padding. The Padding / JPG background control chooses the solid background. With Allow enlargement off, source pixels are not enlarged: smaller content receives padding within the target canvas. Turning enlargement on scales pixels; it cannot restore missing detail.

Batch defaults and individual framing

Open Crop and choose a Crop ratio, then set Batch horizontal position and Batch vertical position. Selecting a ratio uses Fixed width & height with Fill; the width comes from the size rule and height is calculated from the ratio.

Select a thumbnail, then drag its output preview or use This image: horizontal crop and vertical crop. Only that image receives position overrides. These positions apply to Fixed width & height with Fill. Changing the batch position preserves individual overrides; changing ratio or output size retains their percentages but recalculates the frame, so review the composition again.

Restore batch position removes both position overrides for the selected image only. It uses the current batch positions and does not change dimensions, format, watermark or other images. Applying a saved preset instead resets individual positions across the batch.

Watermark and transparency troubleshooting

In Watermark, choose Text and enter text, or PNG logo and choose a PNG file. A missing input blocks processing with an error. The font size and margin are percentages of the shorter output edge; PNG width uses output width and the whole PNG canvas.

An opaque background inside a logo stays visible; Opacity fades it rather than removing it. JPEG has no alpha channel, so transparent images exported to JPG are composited with Padding / JPG background. Choose PNG when you need transparent areas, and check whether padding has introduced a solid background. Source: MDN — Image file type and format guide ↗

Names you can check before download

Open Export and choose Keep original base names or Prefix + sequential number. Numbering follows import order, using Start at and Digits. Removing an image renumbers the remaining batch. Switching output format changes the extension.

Names are made safe for files. Case-insensitive collisions receive -2, -3 and subsequent suffixes. For example, importing photo.jpg and photo.png in that order and choosing JPG produces photo.jpg and photo-2.jpg. The final name appears on each image card and beside the selected preview, and is used in the ZIP.

Save, apply and delete presets

Expand Save & reuse settings, enter a Preset name and select Save rules. Select a saved name to apply it; use its × button to delete it. Rules are stored in localStorage in this browser for this site, under image-rules-v1. Browser restrictions can prevent saving; the status message reports this.

A preset saves size mode, dimensions, framing, enlargement, background, batch positions, watermark type, text, size, opacity, margin, position, output format, quality and naming rules, with a version number. Watermark text and filename prefixes are stored too: avoid confidential text in saved rules.

Source images, PNG logo files and individual crop coordinates are excluded. Applying a preset resets all individual crop positions. Re-select a PNG logo when needed; presets do not synchronize across devices.

Download, cancel and retry

Use Download this image to inspect the selected result, or Download ZIP for the batch. Processing runs sequentially. Related editing controls and image replacement are locked while exporting, and navigating between task pages preserves the rules used by the queue.

Cancel after current image finishes the current item, then downloads completed successes in a ZIP if any exist. Unprocessed images remain in the batch; they are not automatically counted as failures. Run Download ZIP again to process the full batch, or use single-image download as needed. Completed output blobs are not a persistent result library.

Files that need attention lists export errors. Show → Failed exports locates them; correct the settings and select Retry failed files. Retry produces a new ZIP of successes from the attempted failures and updates those failure records. Downloading one successful image preserves other failures. A new download does not replace files already saved on your device.

Download troubleshooting and tested scope

If no download appears, read the status and Files that need attention first. When successes were reported, check the browser's downloads and download permission settings. Extract the ZIP and compare its contents with the displayed names. Keep originals separately; downloading never overwrites the source through the editor.

Automated checks use Chromium in an isolated Linux environment with generated landscape/portrait PNG fixtures and controlled export failures. They cover cross-page state, crop movement, PNG watermark equivalence, failure retries and export locking. This is not a claim of Safari, iOS, Android or real-device certification. The current run details and fixture conditions are retained in the delivery reports.

The 80-image batch remains a reference validation target, not a tested universal capacity promise. Available memory, image dimensions, encoding and browser behavior affect practical capacity. Outputs above 40 megapixels or 16,384 pixels on an edge are rejected.
